lifeguard swim test

had the lifeguard swim test tdy. the weather was all sunny..EXCEPT for the cold winds that really chilled u out. it was nice being in the pool clowning ard, but pretty bad when u get out of it. cos of the latent heat of evaporation that thermally conducts the heat energy away from ur skin cellulite.<-- that was damn bo liao. anyway, swim test was ok.all of us made it...but the brick test was a killer i tell u. i seriously underestimated it..thought it was gonna be a breeze cos i used to do it for polo trg back in my military days, but the american brick is heavy man. or either dat i grew alot weaker.lol.anyway only 3 singaporeans made it..fanxiang, greg and this gal called z. i intend to give it another shot next week..cos only when u pass the brick test can u guard the adult pool.

thats abt it for the day..it ended pretty quickly. so we have the whole day left. we shd be catching a movie soon..da vinci code. weather is really so sunny tdy..it's a perfect day for hanging out at the beach chilling out..i forsee lifeguard trg is gonna be tough..not so much the physical part, but it's a matter of how we battle the weather.

this morning i woke up and looked out of the window. the same sights greet me once again. i see the neighbour's dog fooling ard, the neighbour lazing ard her garden and the neighbour's mom doing her aerobics workout. Putting on a jacket, i strolled over to the famous Boardwalk. The Boardwalk is an ongoing party, and everyone is invited. Warm smiles, friendly hi's and a beautiful morning sea breeze. You almost want to laugh, but you can't help feeling these Americans know moreabout having fun than we do. I go back and make myself a sandwich for breakfast and savour every bit of it. everything is simply going on in slow motion..and we're given the time to savour every bit of it.

looking forward to the nice swims from tmr onwards. will be back later to upload some pics.
